Caring Hearts -- Linking the Generations

Recently, the successful placement of the Heart to Home women's ministry in many churches has been an overwhelming and blessed occurrance. Regularly we get calls and emails from ladies all over our area and even other states requesting information about this women's mentoring ministry. One of our messages through our ministry is "passing our faith to the next generation". It seems this is the message that is coming across so clearly and so dearly to these faithful Christians who are most concerned about the younger women in their churches and communities. How amazing it is to see the hearts filled with love and care and genuine regard for the busy, harried, and often struggling lives of our younger sisters. These inquiring women are searching for a way to connect with the younger women in their churches to befriend them, to encourage them, and to help them with the burdens that our 21st century life places on them and their familes. As an older woman with a daughter who is so precious to me, I too, am eager for her to be cradled and surrounded by a mature friends in the Lord. I too, want my sweet daughter to have the attention and the caring hands of faith-filled ladies who will not only befriend her, but teach her so much that will help her life to be joyous and growing in the Lord. I think God for the hearts and hands who are linking the generations together through this women's ministry. Praise God for you caring women. Praise God that you are willing to reach out and touch the hand and the heart of a younger woman by sharing your life and your home with her. You are helping her to grow stronger in her faith and she can then be what she needs to be for her family, her friends, and God.
