If you are a single parent, you deserve some caring involvement, some extra attention!. Single parents are doing the toughest job -- by themselves. I believe parents going solo deserve lots of help. As a single parent, who do you go to for support and guidance? Who can you turn to, to share your burdens? All single parents need support. Single moms need godly men in her children's lives who will help provide guidance to her children from a Dad's perspective. These men may be grandpas, brothers, coaches and Christian friends. And single Dads need a female voice for support as they raise their daughters. A grandmother, a Bible class teacher, an aunt - someone who can spend time explaining the growing needs of girls. And single parents need support with the spiritual training so necessary for children. Single parents, you need to fellowship with a family of believers who can help you to teach your children how to walk with the Lord. A faith-filled life is vital to the health of a single-parent family. Please find a single parent ministry or other single parents that can help you with your needs as well as your family's needs. FInd a church that pays attention to the needs of single-parent families. Ministers and lay leaders can be a big help to single moms and dads as they raise their children God's way. Today is the day to begin or to increase your strength in your faith as you lead your family in the way of the Lord. Get some help. Don't do your single parenting life - alone.
