Romancing Your Husband

Wives can sometimes be painfully shy… and embarrassed about being sexually assertive. Within the protection and safety of married love, sexual aggression from his wife is often what is the most attractive quality to a husband. As a wife needs affection and attention to become “in the mood” for lovemaking, a husband wants to feel sexually wanted as well as needed by his wife.

This Valentine’s, put some spice in your bedroom life. Here are a few ideas to give a special gift to your beloved husband on the Love holiday. Remember, sex is God’s invention and special gift to the married. God wants us to delight in our mates!

Here are a few ideas to get your special gift ready for Valentine's Day:

1. Be creative. Brainstorm about different locations in your house for sex that would work, or maybe surprise your husband with a one night's stay at a local hotel. Think of different ways to create mood using candles, music, massages, lotions, scents or foods. Think: the delicious, sensuous way that chocolate goes with a night of love.
2. Be aggressive. A man dreams of being pursued by his wife/lover. Your man longs to feel wanted and needed. Instead of being a lifeless participant, be assertive and take charge -your husband won't mind following your lead for a change.
3. Be a planner. Put a night of romance on the calendar. Then offer your husband an invitation to a great night of ROMANCE. Or, write the time and date on the bathroom mirror with lipstick. For you and for him, this will create a sense of anticipation as you get ready for a special night of intimacy together.
4. Be attractive. You would dress up if you were going out with friends to dinner. Give the same care to your appearance for your husband. Be as attractive as you can make yourself before you make love with your husband. You will feel more confident when you feel you look your best. When you feel sexy, you’ll feel like being sexy for your husband… and he will love that you took the time to care about him.

Focus on your man this Valentine's Day. What can you give him that would give him the most joy- the most pleasure and will let him know how much you truly love and cherish him as your husband? You can have the most romantic time of all - it does take some planning!
