Begin by looking at of the women in the stories in the Bible. Like the story of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Wasn’t she extraordinary? Can you imagine what life must have been like for this unusual young woman who would carry within her and give birth to the King of Kings!? What was life like for her? Luke 1 tells her story. How would you have responded if you were told that you were going to conceive a son, the Savior of the world? Here’s what Mary said: “I am the Lord’s servant. Be it unto me as you have said.” Wow! I can’t imagine that I would have been that calm or that confident. The Bible is full of inspiring stories of women who went out of their comfort zones to do amazing things for God. Don’t be an ordinary, everday homemaker, be one that blesses her children and her husband. Be extra – ORDINARY and be in the Word of God.
